Barney Doyle

Barney Doyle

Barney Doyle started his law enforcement career in 2006 as a patrol officer for a small town police department. He worked his way up to the Montana Department of Justice, where he investigated felony crimes, including murder, for the Major Case Unit. He has since moved on to a small agency in rural Texas where he investigates a variety of crimes, including the occasional murder. He spends his free time reading and writing about criminal investigations that are none of his business and that have been handled by agencies that don’t employ him in any capacity. He has a wife who is too pretty for him, two kids who make him disgustingly proud, and two dogs who refuse to obey lawful commands from a duly sworn police officer. In 2004, he saw the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile at a gas station, but that’s a story best left for the sequel.

Just between us, we know you like true crime investigations.
