If you are an author, screenwriter, or fan, you won’t want to miss David Gerrold at Genre-LA this Saturday, February 16! “The Trouble with Tribbles” author will be speaking on Saturday at an event open to the public, and is scheduled to be on panels during Sunday’s programming.

On February 16, 17, and 18, at LA Valley College in Valley Village (in the San Fernando Valley north of Los Angeles, for those of you who don’t know), West Coast Writers Conferences are putting on Genre-LA Writers Conference. There are two tracks: Science-Fiction, Fantasy & Horror; and Thrillers, Suspense, True Crime, & Mysteries.

Genre-LA has other famed authors and figures attending, including our own time-travel author Karl Alexander, comic book star Art Holcomb, retired LAPD officer Kathy Bennett, retired police officer Paul Bishop, Horror Writers Association vice president Lisa Morton, bestselling author Michael Fleeman, and writing coach Morgan St. James.

Additionally, editors, publishers, and agents will be available for pitches, critiques, and interviews throughout the weekend. Steven W. Booth, publisher at Genius Book Publishing and author of the Sheriff Penny Miller series books, The Hungry, The Hungry 2: The Wrath of God, and The Hungry 3: At the End of the World, will be there as well, speaking on panels, taking pitches, and providing critiques. Genius Book Publishing books will be available for sale.

If you sign up online ahead of time, you can get up to 50% off the door price for the weekend. Visit http://www.wcwriters.com/CLUB/ to register.

We look forward to seeing you there.
